Text Message 1

Hi, [NAME]! Did your family get an Amazing Grace PowerPak this last week? Let me know either way! I can’t wait for your family to learn more about God’s grace and find ways to give each other grace, too.

Text Message 2

Hi, [NAME]! Did you happen to see the “Shopping Connect” card in your Amazing Grace PowerPak? I’m going to try it this week with my kids and wanted to encourage you to do the same. I can’t wait to hear your story!

Text Message 3

Hi, [NAME]! Did you happen to see the family devotion in your Amazing Grace PowerPak on “Spilling Over”? It’s the fourth devotion in the book. If your family did that one, I’d love to hear more about it! But if you haven’t, I’d love to encourage you to pull that one out sometime this week. It was a real WOW! for me and my family.

Have you messed up this week?

Message:

[NAME],
I don’t know about you, but I feel like I mess up on the daily! Whether I say the wrong thing to someone I love or make a mistake at work, messing up is inevitable. Thank goodness that the Amazing Grace PowerPak has the card for grown-ups! I really needed to hear that God’s grace is freely given, and I’m guessing you need to hear that, too!

When it comes to being a leader in our families, it’s easy to think we need to have it all together. But isn’t it freeing to know that kids need to see us mess up? But most of all, they need us to show how to respond to our own mess-ups with love and grace. So, today, I just wanted to tell you that messing up is okay—there’s grace for that!

Do you pack your kids’ lunch?

Message:

Have you ever heard of the 5 Love Languages? I don’t know about you, but I really think that all kids love to hear words of affirmation. I encourage you to do something from your Amazing Grace PowerPak for your kids this week. If you look in your “Family Prayers” section of the Amazing Grace Family Devotions booklet, on the first page, you’ll see a “Lunch Box Prayer.”  In working with kids, I know how much they like to hear positive things about themselves. It feels so good when someone notices something unique about the way God made us, doesn’t it?

Go ahead, write your kids a lunchbox note so they know you see how uniquely God made them and how you thank God for that!
